I was born December 13, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York, and came
to Zion in April 1934, with my family to take care of my Grandpa Bright. I was in
1st grade in 1934-35 at the old 30th street school. I was put in 1st grade again.
The next year I went to the Zion Church School (Parochial) College Building and
attended there until it closed. I then went to Lakeview and graduated 8th grade in
1942. After 4 years at Zion Benton Township High School I graduated in 1946. On January 21, 1946, I was introduced to Dale Lother by a mutual friend. We have lived in the same house we bought from my parents all our married years except for 6 months at Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, California. |
