Lecture and Demonstration at Bong Recreation Area
The Bong Eagles Free Flight Model Airplane Club Members were invited by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resourses to give a lecture and demonstration to the Campers and others at Bong Recreational area. On a beautiful Saturday morning on August 11, nine members of the Bong Eagles and 2 members of the Pebble Creek Flyers gave a lecture in the main meeting room and were able to fly indoors with Delta Darts, Cash Bash, Penny Planes, Mini Sticks and No Cal.
Following the indoor demonstration the flyers went to the Bong Area Flying field and flew outdoor freeflight models, R/C planes and gliders and helped the youngsters trim and fly Delta Darts. Many took home Delta Darts. In many cases the seeds were planted for future modelers among the crowd.
